1:1 Run/Tri Coaching:

  • Unlimited access to your Coach via email, text or phone.
  • In person meet up, phone and/or Skype session to get to know each other and what you hope to get out of training. Follow up sessions as requested…I love doing coffee with my athletes. 🙂
  • Premium TrainingPeaks account.
  • Weekly schedules in TrainingPeaks which are athlete specific. Schedules typically written in 2 week blocks.
  • Strength and functional training workouts geared to keep you injury free through training.
  • Unlimited changes to your weekly schedule to account for illness, travel, work, life in general.
  • Regular review of your workouts in TrainingPeaks and applicable comments as warranted.
  • Initial and on-going field testing to set and adjust zones for heart rate, pace, and power.
  • Goal setting discussions and race planning for your annual training plan (ATP).
  • Review and discussion of training and race day fueling plans.
  • Review and discussion of race day plans. Further guidance on how to tackle race day to ensure you are set to have a great day.
  • For local athletes, in person technical sessions are available to review swim form, gait analysis, basic bike skills, etc. (one session per sport)
  • Access to private Facebook page for Realistic Fitness athletes.
  • Team activities to give us a chance to meet each other, give back to the sport, celebrate our accomplishments and HAVE FUN!

Personal Training:

  • Private one hour in home sessions. I bring all the equipment necessary for a full total body workout (TRX, Bosu, resistance bands, loop bands, free weights, etc).
  • In home training workouts are written prior to each session to ensure a wide range of exercises and progressive challenges to monitor progress.
  • 4 week block schedules for those who prefer to work out at the gym. Initial meet up to design program and ensure proper form and execution of exercises. This option is available on line via Skype.

In Person Swim/Run Coaching:

  • 30min – 1 hr in person sessions.
  • In person swim sessions we will look at form and make necessary corrections if needed. We will also practice drills, pacing, and if time permits, do a short workout. Athletes will receive a workout geared towards areas to work on after the session.
  • In person run sessions will work on pacing, form, discussions of perceived effort, etc. Can be done on a safe running path or track. Athletes will receive a workout geared towards their goal/area of improvement after the session.

Group Run Coaching:

  • Group training programs for 5k or Half marathon distance.
  • Two group runs per week led by knowledgeable certified RRCA coaches.
  • Discussions on fueling, pacing, injury prevention through strength training, and race day strategies.
  • Participants receive a full training plan, access to the coaches via email, and promotional item.

Corporate Strength Programs:

  • Small group training set up at facility where individuals get 1:1 attention.
  • All equipment is provided by Realistic Fitness. Participants must bring their own yoga mat.
  • Circuit style classes where participants can go at their own pace and all exercises can be modified to suit different abilities.
  • Great team building opportunity!
